Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ graham cracker crusts use one extra-large or two smaller crusts
  • 1 191 g vanilla instant pudding mix make sure it is instant not cook-and-serve
  • 1 ⅞ cups eggnog full-fat gives the creamiest texture
  • 2 ½ cups whipped topping or whipped cream thawed if frozen
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg freshly grated if possible for best aroma

Method
 

  1. Pour the eggnog into a mixing bowl and add the pudding powder, then beat until the mixture turns thick and completely smooth.
  2. Gently add the whipped topping along with about half of the nutmeg and fold slowly until no streaks remain.
  3. Spoon the filling into the crust and use a spatula to smooth the surface evenly.
  4. Dust the top with the remaining nutmeg to finish the surface.
  5. Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill until fully set, at least five hours or overnight for best results.
