  • 2 large Eggs - At room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 optional Graham cracker crust (optional) - If using, for the crust
  • 1-2 scoops Vanilla ice cream - For serving
  • 1 Whipped cream (optional) - For serving
  • 1 Fresh berries (optional) - For serving
  • 1 optional Powdered sugar (optional) - For dusting the pie

Method
 

  1. Melt butter and chocolate together, either using a double boiler or microwaving in 30-second intervals.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture, then stir in the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased pie pan or prepared crust, smooth the top, and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
