Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
Mix dry ingredients:
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- Set aside
Cream wet ingredients:
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes)
- Mix in orange zest
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each
Combine remaining wet ingredients:
- Mix orange juice, milk, and vanilla in separate bowl
Combine batters:
- Alternately add dry ingredients and wet ingredients to butter mixture
- Begin and end with dry ingredients (3 dry, 2 wet additions)
- Mix until just combined
Bake:
- Pour into prepared pan
- Bake 50-55 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
- Cool in pan 10 minutes
- Invert onto wire rack
Make glaze:
- Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, zest, and melted butter
- Pour over completely cooled cake
